no, there arent burns on it or anything, i just think it's a suitable reply to someone's injured wrist.
i've known people who took self-mutilation to a terrible level, cut strips of flesh out of their arm and threw them away.
well, coulda been worse, they coulda eaten em like the cannibalism topic.
but serious, don't bug around with it- if you want to express something, get a gym membership and introduce a fist to a punching bag. makes more sense to hit something till your fingers bleed than to slice open a vein.

Lovely Wayword,I couldnt agree more but some people(like me and maybe unknownloser)cant stop it,I self mutilate by pulling my hairs out of my arms and I pick at my skin really bad,I go for any type of skin flaw I see then i scratch it gently for hours on and off till I 1)get it off of me 2) or make myself bleed and put a bandaid on it.I do it from my stress levels..its a release and a habbit at the same time.

It's an addiction. And sometimes you don't even think about it, you just do it. Like something that's like an instinct, like breathing or scratching an itch. You just do it. Burns aren't as dangerous as cutting, you can't slice an artery or vein when you burn the skin above it.

I'm very proud of my scars. Anyone who's cut or hurt themselves has to be proud of their scars. I mean, if you're ashamed and hate them than why keep doing it? It'd be public humilation. Sure when little kids ask me where I got them I make something up, but that's just to spare them from emotional truma before they become teenagers. Anyone else I'll tell flat out. Yes, it may ruin my chances to get a job because people think I'm emotionally unstable. But, I'm far from it. I know what I'm doing when I do it, and why I do it. And if those big-head company dudes lived the life I have than they would most likely want to die too. I'm not some rich brat sitting here telling you how simply 'horrible' my little sheltered life has been. I have been through shit you can't immagine going through. Cutting is more than just an outlet for me, it's a hobby.

Really?? Well, this is my opinion, I don't give a shit what you think. And you, or anyone else for that matter can make me hide it. And I don't think it's your place to tell me to get help. You don't know me. For your information I AM getting help. But it's people like you that make me want to stay this way. Socity is un-accepting of anything out of the norm and to me that's wrong. I think your blainted disregaurd for anyone else's feelings is disgusting. And it makes you look ugly. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, yes. But I think your remark was un-called for. You saw the picture, you didn't have to comment. You could have just clicked 'back', to take your opinions where they matter. But you didn't.
