When he came to her door, she started to feel gassy and realized the chili she'd had for lunch had been a bad idea. Being a gentlemen, he carefully put her in the car and shut the door for her, as he walked around to his side, she farted loudly and quickly opened the window and began fanning. She was horrified when he got in and pointed to the back seat saying "Have you met my friends, Ruth and Bob?"

Posted - 07 January 2006 : 8:19:47 PM Do you know, I read something like this before. There is a guy who loves baked beans, but seldom eats them as it causes him to fart. Well, one day on his birthday he was driving home along the highway, his car broke down. He managed to call his mechanic but the workshop was quite far from his home. So, he called his wife and told her that he would be late. Next to the workshop was a diner and he popped in and ordered his favourite baked beans. On the way home, he felt like farting but didn't do so until he reached home. The moment he reached home, his wife took him by the hand and blindfolded him for a surprise party. Just as she seated him by the table, the phone rang and she went to answer it, not before making him promise not to take a peek. While she was gone, the guy could't control it anymore and decided to release his fart. Thinking he was alone, he released it, it was real loud and he himself had to gasp for air. After farting, he straightened his suit and sat still, so that his wife would not suspect anything. Pretty soon, she came back (after a long phone conversation) and; taking off his blindfold, shouted, "SURPRISE" The man expected to see a spread of food. To his horror, seated around the table was his boss and his wife, his parents and in-laws, as well as his next door neighbour with his family, all with disgusted looks on their faces. |

Y'know, I can actually trace this urban legend back to it's original source. This was actually a tv commercial from several years ago that only aired ('cuse the pun) a few times because of its raciness. Not sure what the product was they were advertising, but I recall it being one of the funniest ads I've ever seen. For some reason, people have forgetten that this ever aired and have now passed it off as a legend.

Posted - 02 June 2004 : 11:29:32 AM Good point.....but I spose being night time and being preoccupied with her date and, knowing she really HAD to let one rip, it kep ther attention elsewhere. I can get into a car and not notice the back seat.
DO you think they'd go and see a movie marathon or a smell-a-thon

Posted - 02 June 2004 : 06:01:24 AM Well, Ruth and Bob had something to gossip about.....but I would hate to have a relationship based on a FART joke.....hard to live down......and even though this is a legend, as I find it hard to believe she could naught SEE Ruth and Bob in the backseat, it is stil pretty funny....
