Reply author: Mazeppa *Hick* uh, whiskey tasting and inspection is a very serious job! For one thing, the barrels are quite important, the timing, ageing, grains, it is a science one could spend a lifetime learning, distillation, temperature, ambient moisture, cellar temperature, specific gravity, people spend LIFETIMES trying to make liquid barbituate I mean alcohol actually TASTE good.....they have actually come to the point where they actually have actually almost maybe perceived that anyone on the planet can tell the difference between 10 and 20 year old booze...sooooo smoooooth! Allright, it is an esoteric endeavor, distinguishing tastes, but once I was at a wine tasting party and switched an expensive 20 year old French fine wine with Maddog 20/20, and con-niseurs were speaking most vibrantly of the aura, aroma, tintillating and most scantilizing delight of this delicate fruity beverage......I did'nt have the heart to embarass them and tell my deceitful trick, just laughed uproarously later slogging down $200 worth of "fine" wine......
