URBAN LEGENDS : The Black Cat's Craving	Date Added JAN 2003
There was a boy who was going to stay with the neighbour for the weekend because his parents were going out of town. He had just gotten a colt for his birthday the week earlier. At dinner his father jokingly told him to make sure The Black Cat, who eats livestock, didn't get the colt. That night his parents left and the neighbour went to sleep on the couch while the boy went up to his bedroom. In the middle of the night the boy woke up to his colt's screams. When he looked out the window he saw a black cat circling his pet. He raced downstairs, grabbed a knife from the kitchen, and ran outside. The boy came up behind the cat and cut off it's right paw. The cat limped away and the boy calmed his horse. When he went back inside, as he was passing the couch he saw the neighbour was awake. "What were you doing outside, dear?" she asked, her green eyes gleaming. "Oh, I, there was..." but he stopped because he saw that his neighbour's right hand had been cut off......
