I'm sure theres a thread for this but I cant find it....anyways, sometimes, for no reason at all your left or right ear feels like its burning. Sometimes they both do it at the same time. If you're superstitious, heres what it means.
A common idea even today is that when the ear is burning, others are gossiping. In the original lore the superstition was refined to give a more precise idea of the reason behind the burning ear. Left for love and right for spite, Left or right, good at night. Of course, you have a very resourceful counter attack for your condition. In case your right ear is burning, pinch it. The person who is speaking spitefully of you will immediately bit his or her tongue.

Interesting!
I don't know the reason for warm ears, but I do know that rabbits have large ears to cool themselves, the blood in their ears passes heat out like a radiator! It would be interesting if our ears actually burned when others talk about us, hey, might make a cool experiment at a party......

Hmmmm, is that the "Dance of the Flaming Asshole" stunt? Where a trail of toilet paper is put in the dancers' "cheeks," lit at the end, then he/she dances about, hopefully snuffing it between cheeks before it reaches.......HARUMPH! SEAL Teams find this amusing. Me, I would rather pick the locks of the local wine/cognac cellar......
