I'm almost 60 and I still don't understand this basic fact. Women don't view sex the same way that men do. Men think sex is fun, entertaining and not always attached to deep emotional and psychological committment.( Of course, there's the 80-20 rule implying that there might be 20% of the women out there that think like men do.- I've never met one.) Women, on the other hand, think of sex as serious, cosmic, emotional, and laced with committment.
This fact is validated by the existence of female prositutes, but general lack of male prositutes. ( If women thought sex could be fun - casual, there would be more male protitutes.)
