ok guys..

my little ones are finally eating...gave them some bloodworms today but i dont know how much to give? they seemed quite happy to chow away but i dont want to over feed them

thanks for your help..this site has been so good to read through..given me lots of great ideas for my guys..although the poor things still have no names! any ideas?

they will stop when they are full (i still havnt found that limit with blood worms )

as a rule i tend to give them 2 good pinches seems to keep them content

but i also give the 1 meal worm aswell

I find that if I feed mine too much (he never stops eating whatever I offer him) he'll just throw it back up half digested later on. At least I assume that's what it is - it kinda looks like he's thrown up an organ :/

I saw some nice little dudes at Broadway not long ago - unfortunately the one I was interested in was a female, and I don't think I should be hoping for babies at this point in my axolotl career!

Do you live in Perth, zenkatydid? Or are you talking about a broadway that's somewhere else because there is one in the suburb I live in

My Axi eats so much, if you offer she will just eat it, even after she has had like three.
Salsa will eat about 3 a night, I only feed her at night because I realised that this is when she seems the most active.
Can you over feed an axolotl?
