Does anyone have any good vampire books or movies that they would not mind sharing? If so I would like to know. Thank you

Well, for modern day romance, imagination and sex appeal, you really cant go past Anne Rice's Vampire Cronicles.
And of course you must ead where the Grand-daddy of em all - Dracula by Bram stoker which is more a diary than an actual novel.
A few other good Vampire Books I've read are:
The World on Blood - by Jonathon Shaw
A Deeper Hunger - by Sabine Kells (Mills & Boon type novel )
The Silence in Heaven - by Peter Lord-Wolff
Dead Until Dark, Living Dead in Dallas, Club Dead all by Charlaine Harris
Covenant with the Vampire , Children of the Vampire , Lord of the Vampires by Jeanne Kalogridis come highly recommended to me, I havent read them yet tho. These apparently set the scene before Bram Stoker wrote Dracula
Midnight Blue - the Sonja Blue Collection by Nancy A. Collins is fantastic. A different look on Vampyres - she is one herself yet hunts the man who made her what she is.
The Vampire Files by PN Elrod:
The Vampire Files #1: Bloodlist
The Vampire Files #2: Lifeblood
The Vampire Files #3: Bloodcircle
The Vampire Files #4: Art in the Blood
The Vampire Files #5: Fire in the Blood
The Vampire Files #6: Blood on the Water
The Vampire Files A Chill in the Blood

The series called Anita Blake - Vampire Hunter by Laurell K Hamilton is also quite good. So far theres 10 books in that one:
Guilty Pleasures
The Laughing Corpse
Circus of the Damned
The Lunatic Cafe
Bloody Bones
The Killing Dance
Burnt Offerings
Blue Moon
Obsidian Butterfly
Narcissus In Chains

I can't think what other books I've read.
Watch Interview with the Vampire and Queen of the Damned (adaptations of Anne Rice's novels) BEFORE you read the books or you'll hate the movies!!! They were good for what they were, but so much was cut from the books and I thort it ruined the stories.
The 6 part series called Ultraviolet is also really really good. Leaves you wanting more!
Bram Stoker's Dracula with Gary Oldman was GREAT! Ive seen a fe other older versions, but I loved this newer one.
Dracula 2000 is a must see as well.
Blade 1 and 2 took a different outlook on the vampire - creating the Daywalker. Not bad.
Salem's Lot - the movie. late 70's that one. I think.
The Hunger - with David Bowie Loooove DB! (does anyone remember the Movie called Labyrinth with a really young Jennifer Connelley? Wasn't it GREAT!!!)
The Lost Boys
Vampire's Kiss Think this had Nicolas Cage in it....
Fright Night 1 and 2 - Uber tacky but I love em!
Vampire in Brooklyn
Dracula: Dead n Lovin it

Um, can't think of anymore I've seen.
Enjoy
(No I'm not obssesed..............well, not really, hehehe)

Lord of the Dead: The Secret History of Byron (1995)
The Vampyre: Being the True Pilgrimage of George Gordon, Sixth Lord Byron (1995)
Supping with panthers (1996)
Supping with Vampyres (1996)

not all strictly vampire related. but these are the books that i have read and felt were good.

Caacrinolaas (aka Caassimolar, Glassia-labolas) is a high president of hell who commands 36 legions. He appears as a dog with griffin wings. He teaches liberal arts, inspires murder, makes men invisible, and predicts the future. In the Great Grimoire, he is called Classyalabolas, a sergeant sometimes mounted to Nebiros or Naberus.

Ahh "Lost Boys" .... one of my favourite vampire movies -
"Now you know what we are, now you know what you are. You'll never grow old, Michael, and you'll never die. But you must feed!"
I love that movie.

I second the Anne Rice sugestion..Those books are great..And she's written other books about vampires too, such as "Blackwood Farm" Even though Lestat is in that one, it is still independant from the cronices.

Ive just finished I, Vampire and The Vampire Papers by Michael Romkey - great books.
David Parker is transformed by Tatiana, a centries year old Russian Princess vampire. In order to become part of the Illuminati who have existed since the dawn of the vampires, hes deserted by Tatiana and must "rear and teach himself" the ways of a vampire.
Along the way he meets the great and legendary composer Mozart......
The second book is a more a series of entries that cross between David and his next task, but once it gets going its very well written!
Titles so far in this series are (in order of release date)
I, Vampire (1990)
The Vampire Papers (1994)
The Vampire Princess (1995)
The Vampire Virus (1997)
The Vampire Hunter (1998)
The London Vampire Panic (2001)
The Vampire's Violin (2003)

American Gothic (2004) (Im not actually sure if this book continues in this series tho...)
Fears Point (1989) (This was his first novel, not sure if it comes before I, Vampire tho...)

mmmmm I dont know if I believe your death and reincarnations are necessarily choosen by youself anymore....
I have recently thrown myself into the study of astrology to use as a daily guide in my life and all answers Ive gathered from my natal chart point to this being my last reincarnation and my time is scheduled to end somewhere around (very loosely) the year 2012
Of course, I am not going to base my life around this, but the info has been stored in the back of the mind. Its a fascinating study once you get deep into it

i read I, Vampire a while back - its an awesum book!
it really makes you sit down and think this whole vampire thing. some people have awesum imaginations but where do these wild ideas come from?
like, where did idea that people who really stood out amongst others should be made vampires - like Mozart - so that they could continue to create masterpieces come from? if i let my brain run away that far, i'd get lost in my own imagination!

It was interesting. What really intruiged me was the sub-story in I, Vampire - those researches of classical music discovering a handwriting trademark that went thru hundreds of years of composed works by various artists, then concluding it was Mozart himself and deciding he must still be alive, and then setting out to find him. Wait, that didnt make much sense - oh well
But yeah, that was interesting.
Good book, really fukn hard to find the others tho....I jagged the two I have off ebay

A good book that I have read about Vampires is

Vampires:The occult truth by Konstantinos

He is actually trying to give facts of Vampires existance but in the same time letting you make the choice of believing or not.He speaks of acient actual cultures and such exploring ALL possible ends of fact and folklure about Vampires existing. Its really good and almost makes perfect sense.

I cant wait for his new novel Demons to come out,its going to be good!

Viewed from the Moon, Earth hangs delicatley in the sky on an oasis of life in the black emptyness of space.Nothing could be more beautiful or more lonely.
