In Ancient Europe, lucky days were attributed to the moon, especially the full moon. There were special courting moons and harvest moons. These old rites have left us the following superstitions;
- Lovers are more romantic in a full moon
- Bowing to the new moon three times is considered lucky
- Looking at a new moon through glass is considered bad luck, as this shows disrespect
