WEll, some of you already know barnaby's story.
I bought him at the GCAS auction last october. $4. :)
Only 5 gills, but hey, anything that braves a 14 hour car trip back to sydney is OK in my book :)
Here he is...
Thing is... He is a SHE *pout* least i'm pretty sure now anyhoo, i figure at 3.5" you should be showing something....
So yeah, i did finally cave, or rather my BF did. We bought a 'mate' for Barnaby.
A trip to Parklea markets, $18 later, and now we are the parents of PlutoPup.
Why the name? Well, the first thing they did was sniff each other's regions! *lol* it was so cute!
Thats my new man :) very ordinary colour i know, i was hoping for a green. But hey, he is healthy and thats all that matters :)
And now a size comparison:
I really wanted a SMALL axy, but they are few and far between.
So far, no MAJOR incedents.. Barbaby is just missing a little bit of tail. (it was while I was away for a few days and Daddy was feeding them... hmmm... *rolls eyes* bad Daddy!)

You should be lucky that your Daddy was even prepared to do it Callatya!
Buckshot's Mum, won't put her hand in the tank .. AT ALL and my mother, Chooky, jumps when she watches Buckshot feeding them! So I say three cheers to Callatya's Daddy!
