Actually Jaz, I cannot take the credit for this one. A mysterious member sent me an email asking for the forum to be set up and that he would moderate the area... and then *poof* gone... but hopefully he will become a little less illusive soon

I think that our soul survives after our earth body has died. This soul continues on and after assimilating what it has learned from its previous incarnation, it moves into another new incarnation; and this continues until that soul has achieved total ascention within its existance. This sort of subject then opens the door for discussion on the existence of other diminsions and the "life" forms that dwell there... which is pretty fascinating too! |

A really good read that deals specifically in this vain is called, "A Souls Journey". A bit hard to find but extremely interesting.
Even squashed frogs have feelings. (Sticky and wet.) |

BIG TOPIC!!! I think about it a lot.....like the topic "Where do souls come from." Will I come back as a frog that get squashed beneath a $120 S.U.V. tyre? Oh God, I hope I never die in Texas. Ever notice that there are quite hollow humans walking around? Like little kids walking through a mall.....reaching for candy they don't understand. The Dawn of the Dead is real, perhaps souls are created with the sex act. What, we started out with two people....incest at work? Trapped in a garden, no mother and no father....eeeeks! Souls, just a tv commercial or a vibrant electrical force? Please inform me.

I dont know what I believe in anymore. Sometimes I believe in nothing. Sometimes I think I believe in something but I'm not sure what.
I heard this story once, don't ask me where, but the story of souls goes like this:
I'll put it in another thred, its a bit long!

Not sure abou the afterlife, I do beleive that your soul remains after your death. however how sure are we that when we are here it is really LIFE for all we know we can be DEAD and are trapped the minds prison.
weep no more for me, my time has passed. My soul has gone to its final resting place, For now I am free. |

Despite the fact that science and religion have been at odds for a good long while in the modern world, self-righteous mouths are closing one by one as the realization dawns that science and religion are fundamentally in agreement. Energy can niether be created nor destroyed. World without end, amen That given, we (humans) are immortal in the truest sense. Made in the image of the "creator". I always did think I was pretty fuckin cool, but I never thought anyone should kneel. |

Hi kitty, I agree with you, I hope theres an afterlife as well. How friggin boring if theres not! Tho, I shall be blowing round the world when I'm dead. The idea of being confined to a coffin, rotting in the earth, really freaks me out!!!

I know waht you mean Cat. Sometimes I wish I'd done things differently,or said different things, or kicked up more of a stink so I didnt have to do certain other things. But then I realise - Im only 19 - like wow! This age is for learning and sculpting yourself. The younger can you learn "life experiences" the easier your older years will be, I rekon anyways

I believe that only people with insecurities about the way they are feel that they would do a better job the second time around. When you have made all the choices to get where you are at this point in your life (whether they are right or wrong choices or not) you only have yourself to blame and therefore you are more likely to stuff up a second life in the same manner as the first because you will still be free to make the same decisions.
Everything that happens in your life shapes you into the person you are right now, how can anyone possibly regret anything that they have done, regreting is showing ill-feeling for the person you are right now.

Mmm.. I disagree. IMO having regrets is 9 times out of 10 acknowledging that I made mistakes and is my mind's way of ensuring that I never forget the lesson learned. If I never had regrets, how could I acknowledge that I had ever made a mistake or done a bad thing? You can have regrets and still accept who you are. It's just a bit harder sometimes and might take a bit longer. I envy the person with no regrets. Their life is perfect (or they are mentally ill.... one or the other :) |
