My grandmother recently got her leg removed up to her knee.
And I have no idea why people are amazed by people who are missing limbs. Kids stare, and people who didn't know her before whisper.
It makes no sense to me. =/

She is a very lovely woman, despite the fact that she had no arms. I wouldn't consider her a freak!
