I watched this at my friend's house. She's into tarrot cards and yatta yatta. Afterwards she told me something like "Ghosts are not real, it's time repeating itself." Only truly torchured souls can become a body of the spirt. And spirts are something that's printed in time, so if you have a seance to contact the dead, you're basicly f*cking with time. Those ghosts that become a body of the spirt are the macbare hardcore killers that are in the movie. She went on to explain how each of the 13 ghosts were torchured. The 13 ghosts are as follows;

Now, is anything in this movie true? Like how you need the spirts to open the gates to hell or whatever? Satenism? Not gonna do it, just wondering. My friend swears that ghost/time theory is the truth. Is that so? =/

in the neronomican it dose say that you can reach higher evil sprits.but you have to have a open mind on what your doing , and respect the art of summoning evil from there resting state.for more info on the necronomican you go to www.askjeeves and they have some really good sites on the subject of evil ghosts , and the true parts of 13 ghost.good hunting....

The Jackal or Jeckel appears alot in books for pagenism, wiccans, and satenism. If it is true, that guy is one you do not want to mess with. My tarrot-reading friend said NEVER try to contact him through a seance or wejui board or however else. Or something bad will happen. You know, it kind of tempts me to try it. But, I'm actully scared. Thanks for your help, I'll see about watching the origanl.

According to Warner Brothers' site, "13 Ghosts is a state-of-the-art remake of the classic William Castle horror film about a family that inherits a spectacular old house from an eccentric uncle." It doesn't say anything about being based on any kind of "true" story, or any story at all other than that older horror film. Maybe if you find the 1st movie, you can get more information on how the story came about! If I find anything, I'll post it for ya.
