the tank you see above i could only make in the 6ft version as i make the 7ft only for myself if i was to make any and sell them i couldnt do them for under $200

and as for the filters look here :

https://www.shyscyberchamber.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1384

and i also run an external canister filter that i make for all my tanks

Thanx for the Welcome Buckshot

Axy's down here range from $8 for small to $15 LARGE.... then there is the PET SHOPS they charge the most $22 small to $35 LARGE (mostly all males).

I currantly have over 200 axy's all very healthy

as for the "adopt a boris" problem with eating i have sometimes had this problem but all i do i place them in a small tank (NO Gravel) with enough water to cover them if thy stood straight up, Then i place 5 feeder fish in there with them (mainly guppies they are small and slow moving )and place tank in dark area feed guppy's small dose of fish flakes each day

Welcome to the boards Spawn - I think you might be the first Victorian to grace the Axolotl section.

How much do Axies normally go for down there ?

One of Sydney readers has an very sick little Axolotl that hasn't eaten for close to 3 months...check out the thread below.

Adopt a Boris.
