For those of you who don't know MAME is a program that can be downloaded for free (www.mame.net) which emulates old arcade machines.
This nifty little program allows you to play the original arcade versions of classics like Elevator Action, 1942, Slapfight etc in the comfort of your own home for free !
A few years ago when this program first hit the internet games or ROMs were available everywhere but know the software companies seem to have clamped down on this and only a few sites still exist.
Does anyone out there no any good current sites for downloading MAME ROMs ? In particualr I'm looking for 1943, 1942 and Xevious.
Cheers, Buck.
