I had the chance to see an advance screening of this movie last saturday (15/11/2003)
Jack Black (Tenious D,Cable Guy,Enemy of the State,High Fidelity Ice Age(voice zeke),Orange County , shallow hal and others) is the unimployed Guitarist wannibe. Kick out of his band he finds work as a temp teacher (substute).
this movie was pretty good alround but slow in parts... I would sugguest you wait until you rent the video,
up side.. good music good humor
down side slow in parts

- It was really a kids movie, but it teaches kids about "Real" music.
- I hate the whole rap rock, hip hop, boy band, hot girl dancing & lip-synching shit.
- If kids don't know who Iron Maiden or Judas Priest are, how are they suppose to worship Satan?
