The V8 Supercars kick off the year with a non-championship meeting supporting the Melbourne Grand Prix.

The first major unveiling for the V8 Supercars has just taken place with 888 Racing launching their 2004 BA Falcon.

Paul Radisich and Max Wilson will be driving for them this year.

A new Ford team has sprung up with Mark Noske and FPR refugee David Besnard.

Somebody needs to tell these Ford teams there are other colours besides black and silver...

Finally some Holden launches.

PWR Racing replaces Team Brock. Jason Bright and Paul Wheel are still the drivers.

The Perkins Racing 2004 livery is a total departure to any of their previous colour schemes.

HRT is a bit of a let down...pretty much last years livery with some grey thrown in.

Great to see the CAT car in full CAT livery again instead of that awful
hybrid scheme he has last year.

Thanks to user C4B over at www.ls1.com.au we have a picture of Steve Ellery's Supercheap 2004 livery.

Looks a lot better now they have taken out a lot of the purple.

It looks like DJR are staying with the same design this year - in the brackground is
the BA Falcon revealed earlier in this thread.

Thanks again to C4B who captured these photos at today's testing at Qld Raceway.

Russell Ingall's 2004 car was at testing in QLD today...haven't seen a decent photo of the new Ambrose car as yet.

Very similar to last year except for the odd small sponsor change here and there.

I don't think I'll ever get used to seeing that Number 1 on a Ford !

Less than a week to go till we see the V8s hit the track at the Australian Grand Prix meeting.

K-Mart Racing today unvield their 2004 contenders.

Looks like a bit of a flashback to the HRT early VT days !

Team Kiwi Racing have revealed their extremely shithouse looking 2004 car.
