In many places in America, and other countries I am certain, a plant, Ginseng grows. The medicinal properties of this plant are legendary, the mystery surrounding the plant, extreme. I find it growing on shaded hill, mountain-sides, dig for the root, the valuable part......a pound of dried/washed ginseng root sells for about $400. Thing is, it is like popcorn, takes about a shoebox full of dried root to equal a pound. Dealers won't buy, unless it is dried.
Unique, it bears a bright red cluster of berries, seeds, this time of year, this is harvest time. You put the berries back in the soil upon harvesting, legend has it it won't reveal itself unless comfortable with you, also looking for other plants which grow in similar condition is a good indicator. Lots of mystisism surrounding this plant, any other hunters?
